In order to implement national and European regulation requirements, energy and gas supply companies need additional functionalities so they can model market rules. This is a result of modifi ed energy industry laws, and of the regulatory framework. The gas-specific commercialrequirements relating to the processes for gas receipt stations as NKPs or RLM stations, as well as the presentation of the standard gas load profi les, are basic requirements for highly automated gas balancing processes. Gas receipt stations play a central role in the transport of gas and form the feed and discharge points for balancing processes, due to the modifi ed requirements. For this reason the presentation of physical properties of gas receipt stations, such as measuring bars, are a special feature of coregas@edm.
